What We Do
The mission of Obion County Tourism Board, Inc. is to increase the economic prosperity of Obion County, TN through the promotion and development of tourism assets that allow for the collection of occupancy and sales taxes from visitors traveling for business or leisure.
We accomplish this by promoting Obion County through print and digital media, coordinating with group tour operators, engaging in relevant trade and travel shows, providing marketing education to local business assets and incentivizing tourism-driven events and destination placemaking through our annual Tourism Grant.
Tourism Grant
Do you have an event to promote? Grants will be awarded to projects occurring between July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025. Applications must be submitted no later than six weeks prior to the project date.
Board of Directors
The Obion County Tourism Board of Directors is comprised of local stakeholders who guide and develop the Discover Reelfoot brand and strategic plan.
